How many high energy biscuits can you eat at a time?

2022-03-04

As we all know, high energy biscuits have compact texture and are not easy to absorb water, so they are easy to store and are often used for military or field activities. So how many compressed biscuits can you eat at a time?

The heat of compressed biscuits is very high. Generally, high energy biscuits are 120 grams, with 500-600 kcal of calories, which is about 150-200 kcal higher than a meal (2 liang of rice, some vegetables and meat). It's OK to eat one piece(60g) at a meal. It's OK to eat two pieces(120g) with a good appetite at ordinary times.

A bag(120g) is enough to support an ordinary person to walk at an average speed for seven hours (about 70 kcal per hour). For ordinary mountain climbing activities (with roads), eating once every two hours is enough. And it is not recommended to take it at one time. Eating while walking is a more reasonable way to take it, or containing it, but it is best to drink a mouthful of water and eat a compressed biscuit.
